We take Vancouver Island-bred oysters and smoke them with natural hardwood smoke in-house in Nanaimo.     I expected the oysters would be worthy of serving to company. But they are a mushy texture, broken up with only a few whole ones in the can. Given that they are so unappealing, I am not even sure I want to eat the few remaining tins I have. The flavor is okay. Very very disappointing.
